Ronald "Ron" Reich

     Ronald Dale Reich, 85, Fargo, ND passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at SMP Health-St. Catherine South, Fargo, ND.

     Ronald Dale Reich was born July 27, 1937 in Woodworth, ND to William and Hazelle Reich.  He graduated from Woodworth High School in 1955.  Ron served in the US Army from December 1955 to January 1958.  He was stationed for Basic Training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Fort Lee Virginia, then in Grandes, France.

     Ron married Marlys Kust in 1962.  She passed away October 5, 1987.  One daughter, Lori was born in 1962.  On October 12, 1984 he married Kay Zidon.  They had two daughters Melody and Brittany.  Kay passed away from cancer on April 5, 1995.

     Ron worked driving heavy duty equipment for 14 years, Nash Finch for 36 years and Brad Koetz hauling corn, soy beans, wheat and fertilizer from April 10, 2008 to the present.  He had driven over one million miles.

     He belonged to the Moose Lodge, Eagles Club, American Legion and Vets Club.  Ron liked to go fishing, monster truck shows, country music and has gone to every We Fest from 1983 to present.

     Ron is survived by daughters Lori, Texas, Melody (Steve) Brown, Wolverton, MN and Brittany (Martin) Vareberg, Page, ND; nine grandchildren; one brother Ray Reich; one sister Phyllis (Frank) Dvorak; and nieces, great nephews, great nieces and distant cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, parents, brothers Donald and Roger, nephews and many cousins.

     Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 18, 2023 at First Presbyterian Church, Fargo, ND.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, May 19, 2023 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND.  Interment will be in Gem Cemetery, Woodworth, ND.
