Mona J Luehr

Mona Luehr, 68, of Buchanan, ND, passed away Sunday morning, January 22, 2023 at her home.

Mona Jean Abraham was born January 19, 1955, in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of James and Ramona (Vaugh) Abraham.  She graduated from high school and entered the US Army National Guard on July 29, 1974 at Fargo, ND.  Mona was honorably discharged on July 26, 1976 in Korea and returned to North Dakota.  She married Raymond Luehr on September 30, 1983 in Jamestown.  They made their home near Buchanan and Mona worked at UTC as a tool specialist/machinist for 42 years.  She was a member of Pingree Congregational Church.

Mona is survived by her husband, Raymond; two daughters, Brena Luehr and Cassidy Radi; mother, Ramona Abraham and, Pat Rafferty; brother, Bruce (Bonnie) Abraham; nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Abraham.

Prayer Service – 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2023 at First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown.

Celebration of Life – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023 at First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown.

Interment – Weiser Cemetery, rural Pettibone, ND at a later date.
