Margaret Peggy Johnson

Peggy was born on March 1, 1939 in Valley City, ND to Lester and Winnie (Boughton) Borg. She attended school in Sanborn, ND. On February 24, 1955 she married Darrell Hansen. She later married Sonny Johnson on June 8, 1972. Peggy worked many jobs which included: Waitressing, nursing home care provider, barmaid, and family farm worker. Some of her hobbies were: playing cards, riding horse, going on trail rides, shooting pool, dancing, yahtzee, and spending time with her family.

Peggy is survived by children: Terri (Hy) Schlieve, Clarksville, TX, Michael (Angie) Hansen, Montpelier, ND, Jeanie (Ray) Stahl, Gwinner, ND, Wayne (Mary) Johnson, Brookeville, MD, Marilyn (Tim) Waddington, Yakima, WA, Susan (Steve) Roemmich, Spiritwood, ND, Melanie (Rick) Kroells, Glencoe, MN, brothers and sisters: Ken (Jerry) Borg, Valley City, ND, Barb (Lowell) Komrosky, Valley City, ND, Ray (Lillian) Borg, Valley City, ND, Dick (Barbie) Borg, Valley City, ND. 30 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sonny Johnson, sons: Patrick Hansen, James Hansen, Alan Johnson, Bryan Johnson, grandson, Quinn Hansen, and sister, Bonnie Kitzman.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Montpelier Lutheran Church, Montpelier, ND.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Montpelier Lutheran Church, Montpelier, ND.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Montpelier Lutheran Church, with Rev. Kerry Boese officiating.

Burial: Nortonville Cemetery, Nortonville, ND.
