LaDonna Williamson

     LaDonna Williamson, 88, Jamestown, ND passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at her home.

     LaDonna Babcock was born February 14, 1934 in Jamestown, ND to Leon and Opal Babcock.  She grew up and attended school in Jamestown graduating in 1952.

    She worked for several years in the theaters in Jamestown while in school.  After school LaDonna did secretarial work.  She worked in various jobs, first being John Neukenchen Insurance Agency, Western Adjustment & Inspection Company, and did relief work at Northern Pacific Railroad for several summers.  She worked at the North Dakota State Hospital as secretary in the Social Services Department for five years, then went to work for Liechty Mobile Homes for 25 years until retirement.  LaDonna the worked part time at mall for Watkins & Crafts, two years and two years for J & J Crafts in the mall.  She retired in May of 2004.

     On November 20, 1954 she married Helmer “Willie” Williamson.  He passed away on October 15, 2003.

     LaDonna enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and most of all reading.

    She is survived by one son, David Williamson, Jamestown, ND; two daughters Lynn (Kerry) Wicks, Jamestown, ND, Lisa (Jim) Murray, Carpentersville, IL; seven grandchildren Ashlyn, Brittney, Samantha, Lexi, Cole, Nathan, Carly and four great grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

No services will be scheduled per LaDonnna’s wishes.
