George and Shirley began their journey of 62+ years of marriage on June 19th, 1959 in Medina, ND. The first years of marriage involved lots of travel and relocating while working on road construction for Schultz and Lindsey Co in the states of ND, MT, CO and SD, returning to the Hillius farm for the winter months.

In 1966 they made Minot, ND their home. George was employed by Iseman Homes, Minot Coleman Distributers and Discount Mobile Home Sales. Shirley took a job with Talbott Nursery during the spring and summer for a couple years.

The business focused on primarily Mobile Home repair eventually phasing to exclusively RV service in the early 90's. George and Shirley retired in 2002 with Todd carrying on the business that they took great pride in.

They led a very active life spending time with family and lifelong friends, camping, fishing, playing cards, dancing and traveling to Polka Festivals. Sundays were often spent listening to Old Time music on KBMR radio's Polka Party. They traveled to many places around the country with winters spent in Hawaii and later Arizona.
