Wayne Dluzen, 63, of Jamestown, ND died Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Jamestown Hospital.
Wayne Dluzen was born February 3, 1942 in Evergreen Park, Il, the son of Bruno and Elizabeth (Stark) Dluzen. He received his education in the Roseland, Il area and graduated from Blue Island High School, Blue Island, Il. Wayne entered the US Air force and served in Vietnam, Germany, Alaska, California, Montana, and North Dakota. He married Lela Gullickson on June 20, 1970 in Minot, ND. He retired in Great Falls, MT as a Senior Master Sgt. after 21 years of service. They moved to Jamestown, ND in 1991 where they have made their home since.
He enjoyed building and flying RC model airplanes, working on his computer, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Lela Dluzen of Jamestown, ND; two daughters, Wendy (Richard) Thompson of Minneapolis, MN and Trina (Cameron) Bercier of Hawley, MN; 4 grandchildren, Georganna Thompson, Savannah, Hayley, and Aubrey Bercier; one brother, Terrence (Mary) Dluzen of Burr Ridge, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service: 10:30AM, Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.
Visitation: Monday, August 22, 2005 from 1:00PM to 8:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND
