Virginia Martel

Virginia Martel, 87, Bismarck, North Dakota, formerly of Medina, ND died Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Baptist Home in Bismarck.

Virginia was born February 24, 1924 in Medina, ND, the daughter of Gust and Katie (Rau) Martel. She received her education in rural Medina schools, graduating from Medina High School. She lived on the family farm until 1959 when she moved into Medina, where her home has been since.

Virginia enjoyed reading and she loved the Lord and read her Bible daily. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Medina.

Virginia is survived by special friends, the Craig Reister family, Medina.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Reuben.
