Tracy Ann Schmoker

Tracy Ann Schmoker, 46, of Dickey, North Dakota, passed away on February 21, 2026.

Tracy was born to Noel and Julia (Wilkes) Schmoker on September 20, 1979, in Jamestown, ND. She grew up and continued to live on the family farm near Dickey. Tracy attended grade school in Edgeley, ND and later transferred to LaMoure High School where she graduated. She enjoyed many things, and especially had a great love for animals. All animals in her care had a name. Tracy could tell them apart and called them by name. She enjoyed her time working at Hovland Vet in LaMoure while she was in school, expanding her knowledge of animal care. Tracy also enjoyed spending time outdoors doing yard work and decorating for the holidays. She took pride in supporting the community by attending as many events as she could. She loved visiting with friends & neighbors and always greeted you with a big smile and generous heart. Many would find a card or note from Tracy in their mailbox around the holidays or important dates. She had so much love for her family and thoroughly enjoyed her time with them.

Tracy is survived by her father, Noel; her brothers, Brian Schmoker; Todd (Corinne) Schmoker, and Michael Schmoker; sisters, Lori (Lyndon) Modin and Barbara (Brady Barron) Alber; along with her nieces and nephews: Danielle (Logan) Bowen, Samantha (Talon) Mack, Cadence, Barrett & Hunter Modin, Trisha (Matt Schwarz) Alber, Jacey Alber, and Harley Barron. Tracy is also survived by four great nieces and nephews, Layne & Emmy Bowen, Oliver Schwarz and Jet Mack, as well as aunts, uncles & cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Schmoker; sister, Renee Schmoker; grandparents; three aunts; and an uncle.

Mass of Christian Burial – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Assumption Catholic Church, Dickey, ND with Father Greg Haman, celebrant.

Prayer Service – 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2026 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Visitation – One hour before each service.

Burial – Assumption Cemetery, Dickey, ND, with lunch at the Dickey Hall to follow.
