Sue Hopland

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, Sue Hopland, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home on April 20th, Easter Sunday.

Sue was born August 14, 1950 and raised in Jamestown, North Dakota to Pat and Dolly Folk. A graduate of Jamestown High School Class of 69, she soon united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Larry Hopland on June 6,1969. After graduating, Sue went on to open “Dolly and Sue’s Flower Boutique” and held many jobs including a home daycare, managing the local McDonalds where she enjoyed working and mentoring alongside youth and managing the Gladstone Inn. She enjoyed spending time at the Casino, having coffee with her closest friends, catching up with meal at the Depot and supporting her granddaughters with their sporting events.

Sue is survived by her daughter Lisa Lundvall, her son Jason (Tricia) Hopland and her beloved granddaughters, Bailey and Kinsley Hopland, a sister Marilyn Muehler, Brother in law Dennis Matteson and many nieces and nephews.
