Sherrill Schorsch

Sherrill Schorsch, 76, Jamestown, ND, died Monday, March 19, 2012 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Sherrill Fae Hintz was born on April 23, 1935 in Mott, ND, daughter of Otto and Henrietta (Rekow) Hintz. She graduated from Mott High School in 1953.

She married Daniel P. Schorsch on September 27, 1954 in Mott. They made their home in Grand Forks while Dan attended the University of North Dakota. They moved to Jamestown in 1957 where they remained for their 49 years of marriage.

Sherrill was active in many volunteer, church, and community organizations throughout her lifetime that gave her the opportunity to share her outgoing personality and zest for life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan, and brother, Curtis Hintz.

She is survived by her children; Pam Schorsch, Grand Forks; Peg Biberdorf (David), Grand Forks; Paula Redmann (Tom), Bismarck; and Bart Schorsch, Fargo; as well as her sister Connie Gunderson (Lloyd), Northfield, MN, and sisters-in-law June Hintz, Mandan, and Gen Ebert (Chuck), Mott.

Sherrill was dedicated to her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren, Alex and Max Redmann, Moorhead, MN, and Rachel and Leah Biberdorf, Grand Forks, ND.
