Schelly M. Schlaht, 68, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Eventide, Jamestown.
Schelly M. Schlaht was born November 22, 1950, in Jamestown, the daughter of Harold “Chubby” and Artena (Lang) Schlaht. She graduated from Jamestown High School and from Valley City State University with a teaching degree. Schelly taught for several years in Amidon, ND and New Mexico. She later worked at the café at Jamestown College. Schelly was an avid sports fan, especially of the Twins and Cubs. She rarely missed an American Legion Baseball game. Schelly loved going camping with family, reading books, and playing solitaire.
Schelly is survived by her mother, Artena Schlaht; aunts and uncles; and many cousins across the United States.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents; a sister; and a brother.
Funeral Service : 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Jamestown.
Visitation : One hour before the service at the church.
Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
