Sandra "Sandy" Azure

Sandra Gail Azure passed on the evening of Monday, June 15th, 2026 comfortably at her home in Fargo, ND surrounded by her loved ones.

Sandra G. Azure (Fisher) was born on November 24th, 1959. The daughter of Lynn and Francis Fisher (Peplinski) in Jamestown, ND. She grew up in the Jamestown and Montpelier area and attended Jamestown High School. Sandy met her husband Paul Azure in 1992, and they married in the fall of 1997. Together they had two children, Jennifer J. Azure and Joshua J. Azure.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and witty sense of humor.

Being a mom was the greatest joy of Sandy’s life. She spent her life working various jobs to help support her family, and taking care of her children and grandchild. She took so much pride in being a grandmother. She loved spending time with her sisters, shopping, crossword puzzles, and taking care of her plants.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Paul V. Azure; son Joshua J. Azure, daughter Jennifer J. Azure; one granddaughter Akira K. Azure; two brothers Dale Fisher and Doug Fisher, both of Jamestown, ND; brother in law, Doug Gahner of Fargo, ND; two sisters, Sue Heimann (Fisher) of Jamestown, ND; Sheila Michel (Fisher) of Jamestown, ND; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Fisher; mother, Francis Fisher (Peplinski); brother, Dennis Fisher; sister, Sharla Gahner; grandparents; and aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, June 19, 2026 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND. Inurnment will be in Highland Home Cemetery.
