Ronnie Lee Geigle, 66, Jamestown, ND was called home by the Lord on November 3, 2013.
Ronnie was born in Jamestown on April 2, 1947. He grew up on a farm located 18 miles south of Jamestown. He graduated from Montpelier High School and continued on to college at North Dakota State School of Science.
Ronnie was united in marriage to Betty L. Berndt on August 10, 1968 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown. They were married for 45 years.
Ronnie was a member of the North Dakota Army National Guard for 9 years.
Ronnie was employed by Northern Improvement as a mechanic. He retired on October 10, 2013. He enjoyed his family, friends and co-workers. Some of his hobbies included fishing with his boat, restoring antique vehicles and tractors, refurbishing antique toys, collecting toy tractors and constructing holiday decorations of wood.
He enjoyed coaching his son's basketball teams in the winter. During the summer he supported his sons while they played organized baseball.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Betty, Jamestown; five sons, Michael L. (Crystal) Geigle, granddaughter Mallory and grandson Josh, New Richmond, WI, Steven P. (Evonne) Geigle, grandson Kade, Devils Lake, ND, Brian J. (Jamie) Geigle, grandson Kaiser, granddaughter Kelsey, grandson Galvin, Hammond, WI, Keith A. (Shanna) Geigle, grandsons Andrew and Lucas, granddaughter Greta, Fargo, ND and Darwin J. (Janet) Geigle, granddaughter Allison, New Richmond, WI; siblings, Dianna (Levi) Patzner, Robinson, ND, Donna Dobson, Jamestown and Coleen (Gary) Lossing, East Bethel, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilber H. and Eileen R. Geigle.
