Ronald I. Hoggarth

Ronald I. Hoggarth, 46, Wimbledon, ND went to be with his mom, Eileen in heaven on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Ronald Irvin Hoggarth was born September 27, 1967 in Jamestown, ND, the son of Russel and Eileen (Groth) Hoggarth. He attended Wimbledon-Courtenay High School, graduating in 1985. Ron received his Associate Degree from Devils Lake in sales, parts and service. Part of his schooling was also in Wahpeton, ND.

After graduating, he worked for Mitchell Farms before working for his Dad at Wimbledon Implement, Inc. When he left the store, Ron worked for Mutschler Farms, and has been employed at Dale Reimers Farms of Spiritwood Lake for the last 16 years.

Ron made his home in Wimbledon and was very active in the community with the city council, park board, and was the Grill Master for the new park equipment. He loved to grill steaks, burgers, pork, roasts or whatever was in need for Wimbledon events. Ron enjoyed hunting, playing cards, four-wheeling, following the sports teams, and fishing with anyone that would like to throw in a line. He really loved taking all the young kids fishing and hunting any time he could. Along with spending time at the local sporting events, and spending time with the youth in the Wimbledon community, he especially loved following his nephew, Spencer's drumming and giving his niece Gerty (Morgan) a bad time.

Even though he required dialysis, he looked forward to it because of the special bonds and friendships formed with the dialysis team.

A man of few words, Ron always made time to be with friends and many of his close cousins. The impact he had on others was unnoticed by him, but noticed by many. His memory will live on in others forever.

More than anything, Ron enjoyed being out in the field in a tractor or any other piece of farm equipment. He loved the land and every aspect of working it.

Ron is survived by his dad, Russel and his wife, Barbara, Bismarck; one sister, Lisa and her husband, Rich, Brandon, SD, and their children, Spencer, Morgan and Gail (Jason) Muller; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ron is preceded in death by his mom, Eileen, and his grandparents, Irvin & Edna Groth and Vern & Irene Hoggarth.
