Rob Roy Walker

Robert ""Rob"" Roy Walker, 54, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Monday, January 12, 2009 at Jamestown Hospital.

Rob was born March 21, 1954 in Gladewater, Texas, the son of Roy Lee and Lucy (Harwell) Walker. Rob lived in various parts of the United States, including Arkansas, Texas, California, Louisiana and North Dakota. In 2004 he moved from Arkansas to North Dakota and worked at Wal-Mart and the US Postal Service.

Rob enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children.

Rob is survived by a son, Erik Walker and daughter, Lyra Walker, both of Jamestown.

He was preceded in death by his his wife, Elizabeth, and one brother.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Steve Berntson officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home.
