Richard Schultz

Richard E. Schultz, 83, of Jamestown, ND, formerly of Ypsilanti, ND, passed away at his home Monday, December 22, 2025.

Richard was born May 18, 1942, in Jamestown, the son of Leslie and Elva (Berge) Schultz. He attended school in Ypsilanti until it closed, and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1960. Richard married Sharon Weinrich on July 3, 1961, later divorcing. He worked as a mechanic for Melland’s Auto in Jamestown and later for various construction companies, including Scherbenske’s until his retirement.

Richard is survived by his three children, Todd Schultz, Fargo, Mardell (Brian) Krebsbach, Oak Grove, MN, and Jolene Barnick, Jamestown; nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald; and daughter, Carrie Ann.

Memorial Service – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026 at All Soul’s Chapel, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
