Randolph "Randy" Schulz, 90, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 in Jamestown, ND.
Randy was born December 15, 1922 in Woodworth, ND, the son of Albert and Wanda (Goter) Schulz. Randy served in the US Army and did a tour of duty during World War II. On October 2, 1948, Randy married Charlotte Gray of Buchanan, ND at New Home Lutheran Church in Woodworth. They farmed in the Woodworth area from 1948 to 1969 then moved to Jamestown. They were blessed with seven children.
Randy enjoyed fishing, woodworking, watching cattle auctions and spending time with his family. He always made himself available to help friends and loved ones out in time of need. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Randy is survived by six children: Kenneth (Annette) Schulz, Watertown, SD, Sheila (Doug) Block, Jamestown, Rodney Schulz, Jamestown, Judy (Paul) DeLaurier, Riverside, CA, Brent Schulz (Sue Pfaff), Jamestown and Kim Schulz (Jeff Timm), Jamestown; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Selma Martinson, Ten Mile Lake, MN, Eleanor (Ron) Langhoff, St. Paul, MN, Evelyn Kutz, Jamestown and Lois Mutschler, St. Paul, MN and two brothers, Walter (Frances) Schulz, Jamestown and Leno (Vera) Schulz, Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Timothy; parents; two brothers and one sister.
