Olga Rueb

April 20, 1929 — November 24, 2021

Olga Irene Rueb, age 92, entered her eternal home with the Lord on November 24, 2021.

She was born April 20, 1929, to August Vilhauer and Anna Mary (Jundt) in Hosmer, South Dakota.  She attended rural McPherson County School and went on to attend North Central Bible Institute, Minneapolis, Minnesota, for one and one half years.

Over the years she loved being involved in the ministries of Jamestown First Assembly of God including Sunday school as the secretary-treasurer, vacation Bible schools, women's ministries, small group ministry and helped Val with weekly Sunday ministry at the then Hi Acres Manor.  They both had a heart for their local church and missions.  They faithfully prayed for and supported them financially. Together, Olga and Val were a faithful ministry team visiting the sick and shut-ins, praying, singing and spending time with those in most need. Olga and Val loved to travel and spent two weeks most summers visiting family and vacationing around the US.  Their travels also included visits to Europe, Hawaii and Alaska.

Olga is survived by four children, Dan (Susie) Rueb, Olive Branch, MS,  Kathy Simon (Jeff), Green Bay, WI, Clyde Rueb, Jamestown, ND, Renae Hansen (Dave), Moorhead, MN, two sisters, Geri Engen, Olive Branch, MS, Luella Deutscher, Jamestown, ND and six grandchildren, Jason Simon (Grace), Madison, WI, Krista Ewing, Madison, WI, Danielle Castillejo (Luis), Poulsbo, WA, Dave Rueb (Amy) Jakarta, Indonesia, Leah Viger (Tony), Scottsdale, AZ, Cassie Hansen, Duluth, MN.  She was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren, Nathan Simon, Magdalen Simon, David Simon, Jonathan Simon, Daniel Simon, Julia Simon, Luca Castillejo, Julie Castillejo, Estella Castillejo, Benjamin Castillejo, Lydia Ewing, Monica Ewing, Asher Rueb, Oliver Rueb, and Kaleigh Viger.
