Norma L. Lipetzky

Norma L. Lipetzky, 96, Jamestown, ND formerly of Kensal, ND passed away Monday, September 1, 2026 at SMP Health-Ave Maria, Jamestown, ND.

Norma Lipetzky was born September 3, 1929 in Kensal, ND to William and Alma (Ronholm) Spitzer. She attended a country school and graduated from Kensal High School.

On June 21, 1947 she married William “Bill” Lipetzky. They farmed near Kensal for many years. She was active in community organizations and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. In later years spent winters in Arizona where she took up golf, a sport she excelled at and enjoyed. Norma retired to Jamestown where Bill passed away in 2020.

Norma is survived by six children, Kathy (Jim) Johnson, Kensal, ND, Bill (Dixie), Jamestown, ND, Clete (Karen), Kensal, ND, Deb (Bruce) Stupica, New Prague, MN, Susan (Brent) Nogosek, Evanston, Wyo., Doug (Sharon), Bismarck, ND; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Tom Eckstein officiating. Inurnment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Kensal, ND.
