Norma Jean Graves

Norma Jean Graves, 80, Fargo, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND died Monday, May 26, 2014 at ManorCare in Fargo.

Norma Jean Headland was born April 13, 1934 in Jamestown, the daughter of Andrew and Mabel (Wood) Headland. She received her education in Montpelier and Jamestown schools, graduating from Jamestown High School. On September 12, 1954 Norma married Simmon H. Graves in Jamestown. They made their home in Jamestown where they raised their family. Simmon passed away December 29, 2001.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, embroidery and playing bingo. Norma and Simmon loved to dance.

Norma is survived by four children, Sheila (Robert) Nelson, Fargo, ND, Rebecca (Glenn) Case, Valley City, ND, Curtis (Lori) Graves, Jamestown, Darin Graves, Lakeville, MN; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Margie Farley, Lemon Grove, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Vicky Lynn; infant son; one sister and one brother.
