Michelle Richardson

Michelle Eileen Wobbema Richardson, born November 14, 1962 in Carrington Hospital to Pete and Donna (Parks) Wobbema.

Michelle spent her youth in the Barlow and Carrington areas. After she graduated from Carrington High School.

She moved around a bit until she landed in Jamestown and worked at ND State Hospital for several years. She most enjoyed meeting new friends, working with plants and visiting. She also loved being with family especially if they had a little baby. She had a great many friends that helped her out and checked in with her regularly, and for that we are eternally grateful. She also had a special passion for country music and loved to dance until she was no longer able to due to her illness.

Michelle is survived by a sister Pat, husband Ron Gienger, Valley City, ND; brother Bob, wife Joleen, Sioux Center IA; brother Jeff, Minot, ND; sister Joni Parks, Carrington, ND; sister Sandy, husband Kyle Straabe Leeds, ND; brother Bill Wobbema, New Rockford, ND; sister Bette Abell Wahpeton, ND; sister Nannette, husband Curt Sovey Gillette WY; brother Jim wife Ann Wobbema; Barlow, ND; and sister Tina Hermanson; also a sister-in-law Jeanne (Larry) Wobbema; also many nieces and nephews that loved her very much.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Donna, Grand Parents, one brother Larry Wobbema; three sisters Becky, Debbie, and Peggy; and four brother-in-laws Harold "Red" Parkis; Lynn Schroeder; Rob Bonderson; and Mike Hermanson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, July 31, 2026 at Eddy Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Berntson officiating.  A reception will immediately follow the service at the Club Room, 208 3rd St SW, Jamestown, ND.
