Marlys Ann Mutschler, 71, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Friday, December 3, 2004 at Golden Acres Manor in Carrington, ND.
Marlys Hamann was born February 23, 1933 in Jamestown, the daughter of Clarence and Helena (Geier) Hamann. She attended school in Millarton and Wimbledon, ND, graduating from Wimbledon High School. Marlys worked in grocery stores during her school years. On June 9, 1950, she married Fred Mutschler in Wimbledon. They farmed and operated a spraying business near Wimbledon. Marlys was the 1968-1969 Flying Farmers Queen of ND. In 1978, Fred and Marlys moved to Jamestown. Marlys enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers and visiting with people.
She is survived by: her husband, Fred, Jamestown; two sons, Don (Cathy), Walterboro, SC and Rick, Wimbledon, ND; one daughter, Sue (Dan) Greshik, Courtenay, ND and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant brothers, one sister and one infant daughter.
Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Prairie View Cemetery, Wimbledon, North Dakota.
