Mark Anderson, 59, of Edgeley, ND, died Friday, June 10, 2011 in Fargo, ND.

Mark Steven Anderson was born December 12, 1951, in Jamestown, ND, the son of Bennie and Catherine (Wald) Anderson. He was raised in Edgeley and graduated from Edgeley High School in 1969. Mark attended and graduated from NDSU, Fargo, ND with a degree in business. Mark was a pyrotechnic enthusiast since he was 15 years old and sold fireworks with his father. He owned and operated Dacotah Theatre and Lanes, Edgeley, Omega Theatre, LaMoure, and Lyric Theatre, Ellendale until 2008. Mark also worked for area auctioneers and was active buying and selling antiques and collectibles. Mark enjoyed spending time with his nephews.

He was a member of the Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Mark is survived by brother, Tim, Edgeley; brother, Curtis, Mandan; sister, Susan, Fargo; brother, Brian, Edgeley; brother, David, Edgeley; sister, Carol (Dean) Sather, West Fargo, ND; brother, Craig, Fargo; sister, Cheryl, Fargo; four special nephews, Andrew, Corey, Brandon, and Christopher Sather, West Fargo, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2011 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Visitation: 5:00p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Vigil: 7:30p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Interment: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
