Marillyn Topp

Marillyn Knutson Topp, 80, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at her home.

Marillyn LaMotte was born January 23, 1933 in Courtenay, ND, the daughter of Lawrence and Minnie (Kellog) LaMotte. She received her education in Courtenay schools. She married Oscar Knutson in 1955 and he passed away in 1975. They farmed in the Juanita, ND area for 20 years. She married Leonard Topp in 1979 and they continued to farm in the Juanita area. Leonard died in 2010.

Marillyn enjoyed sewing, reading, baking, cooking and going to the lake cabin in Ashby, MN.

Marillyn is survived by her daughter, Kathy Overby, Fargo, ND; son, Calvin (Chris) Knutson, Jamestown; six grandchildren, Dedrick Overby, Tracy Turner, Shane Overby, Jesse Knutson, Devin Knutson and Cory Knutson; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce (Harvey) Hirning, Ashby, MN and one brother, Leo (Fely)LaMotte, San Antonio, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
