Marian M. Holmes, 94, Woodworth, ND went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Knife River Home Care Center in Beulah, ND.
Marian Carter was born August 13, 1919 in Chase Lake, ND, the daughter of William and Lillian (Walters) Carter. Marian married William Holmes and they farmed in the Woodworth, area for over 70 years.
Marian is survived by three sisters, Ferne L. Chapman of Tacoma WA, Gladyce L. Erling of Park Rose Home in Tacoma, WA and Yvonne LaPorte of Whitehall WI.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation: 2:00 pM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May,27 2014 at Eddy Funeral Home, 621 1st Avenue South, Jamestown ND.
There will be no funeral service.
Burial: Gem Cemetery, Woodworth, ND
