Lois Jane Ellingson

Lois Jane Ellingson, 72, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Eventide Jamestown.
Lois Jane Amundson was born April 3, 1943, in Larimore, North Dakota to Omer and Genevieve (Common) Amundson. Lois attended Gilby, ND schools. She continued her education at Joseph's Beauty College in Fargo. Lois lived in Park River, ND and Grand Forks, ND. On March 14, 1964, Lois married Stan Ellingson in Arvilla, ND. They moved to Jamestown in 1997 where she has resided until her passing. Lois enjoyed crafting and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Stan Ellingson, Jamestown; two sons, Lee (Sandy Rex), Wahpeton, ND, Kenneth (Tonya), Lankin, ND; daughter, Kim (David) Lien, Bismarck, ND; three grandchildren, Kevin, Tyler, Ross; six step-grandchildren, Tommy, Jenny, Crystal, Ashley, Rebecca, Jacob; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kenrix, Zachary, Brooklyn; one brother, Don (Carol) Amundson, Devils Lake, ND and numerous neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Thursday, October 15 at Victory Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Shawn Bowman, officiating.
Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 14 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 14 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
