Linda Elizabeth Whipple

Linda Whipple, 99, Jamestown, ND died Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Ave Maria Village.

Linda Elizabeth Whipple was born July 19, 1910 on the family farm near Adrian, ND the daughter of Clinton F. and Edith Isabelle (Knutson) Whipple. She attended country school near Adrian and worked with her parents on the family farm. Linda moved to Jamestown in 1949 with her parents and has lived here since. Linda cared for both of her parents and also her mother's sister during their failing health. Linda became a resident of Central Dakota Village in December 1999 after suffering a heart attack. She enjoyed visits from friends and always wanted updates on everyone. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation: 1:00 t0 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Lisko Funeral Chapel.

Interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
