Lena Price

Lena Price, 92, Jamestown, ND died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown, under hospice care.

Lena Pantleon was born August 30, 1921 in Neubronn, Germany to John and Elizabeth (Hess) Pantleon. She came with her parents to America shortly after birth. Lena graduated from Oakes High School, Oakes, ND. She attended and graduated from Jamestown College in 1944. She married Jack Price on December 16, 1946 in Spartanberg, South Carolina. They moved to Jamestown in 1947. He passed away December 9, 2004. Lena worked as secretary to President John Fisher at Jamestown College and in the development office. She was promoted to Jamestown College Alumni Director in 1966, remaining as director until her retirement. She went on many of the Jamestown College Choir tours and was an active member of the Alumni Association.

Lena enjoyed woodworking, fishing, boating, camping and traveling. She was the State Sharp shooting Champion and a member of the Boating Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
