Kathy Redmann, 75, of Jamestown, ND, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, September 12, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love and memories of the family she cherished.

Kathy was born January 10, 1951, in Rolla, ND, the daughter of Lloyd and Wanda (Berginski) Leonard. When she was five years old, Kathy moved with her family to Jamestown, a community that would become her lifelong home. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1969.

Kathy was united in marriage to Gene Redmann on December 27 1971; they enjoyed 54 years by each other’s side as husband and wife. Together, they built their life in Jamestown and raised their three sons. Kathy devoted herself to her family and took great pride in watching her boys grow into the men they became. In time, her family grew to include grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy and gave her even more to love and cherish.

Kathy worked at Norwest Bank and later at Alfred Dickey Library. She was a familiar and caring presence to many in the Jamestown community.

Kathy found happiness in the little things that made everyday life special. She enjoyed drawing, putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading a good book, and playing Words with Friends. She appreciated quiet moments at home and the simple pleasures of staying connected with the people and activities she loved.

Above all, Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her family was at the heart of her life. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the many quiet ways she was there for the people she cared about. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared with her family will continue through the generations.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Gene Redmann; three sons, Matthew (Elizabeth) Redmann and their children, Brayden, Cooper, and Abigail; Adam (Darci) Redmann and their children, Evan, Molly, and Madison; and Kyle (Ashley) Redmann and their children, Bentley and Forrest; and four sisters, Margie Karn, Lorraine Crouse, Colleen Leonard, and Lori Joos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Wanda Leonard, and her brother, Lloyd Leonard.
