Josephine A. Wentland, 93, Edgeley, North Dakota, formerly of Boca Raton, Florida, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Manor St. Jospeph in Edgeley.
Josephine Anna Schmitt was born July 23, 1911 in Fried, North Dakota the daughter of Peter and Ella (Kaiser) Schmitt. She graduated from St. John's Academy on June 2, 1930 and went to work at First James River National Bank in Jamestown until her marriage. On December 28, 1953 she married John W. Wentland at St. James Catholic Church in Jamestown. John died September 27, 1986.
Jospehine is survived by two nephews, Thomas A. Peterson, Jamestown and James (Carol) Peterson, Milnor, ND.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and two brother-in-laws.
Funeral Mass: 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the Basilica of St. James with Father John McGinnis officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, April 15, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
