John R Risbrudt

John Russel Risbrudt passed away April 19, 2025 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. John was born April 1, 1949 at Jamestown Hospital to Norah (Hayes) and Truman Risbrudt. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1965 and Jamestown College in 1971. He married Nora Eissinger June 6, 1970 and lived in the Twin Cities for 47 years, then moved to Jamestown in 2017 to be closer to family. John truly enjoyed his part time job at Hugo’s meeting wonderful coworkers.

He is survived by his brother, Dr. Thomas Risbrudt; sister-in-law, Dr. Frankie Scott Risbrudt; sister-in-law, Lora and Jerry Fisher; sister-in-law, Linda O’Keefe; brother-in-law, Fred and Jolene Bjugstad; nieces and nephews, Erik Risbrudt, Krista Risbrudt Salazar, Michael Salazar, Ryan and Tawnya Fisher, Rachel and Blake Krapp, Aaron and Tara Bjugstad, Ashley (Dave) Bjugstad, Andrew Bjugstad, Kelly O’Keefe, Kristy O’Keefe; great nieces and nephews including, Emme and Elle Risbrudt, Kralyn Salazar and A.J. Salazar, whom gave him much joy.

No services; a family celebration will be done at a later date.
