Joanne Soulis, 84 died December 31, 2025, after a short illness at Edgewood-Assisted Living Jamestown.

Joanne Carol Wojcik was born February 22, 1941, second of four children of Lester and Edna Wojcik. She grew up and attended school in Jamestown.

On August 26, 1957, Joanne married Terry Dean Soulis and they raised three children. Together they lived in Jamestown and Minot, ND, Sioux Falls, SD and Fargo, ND before moving to San Leandro and Lodi, CA. Terry passed away in 2002 while they were living in Reno, NV. After Terry’s passing, Joanne moved to Missouri and Wisconsin to be closer to family, before finally settling back at her childhood home of Jamestown. She enjoyed being a homemaker first, but held many retail and clerical positions in her later years. Her hobbies included reading, watching movies, listening to jazz music and visiting casinos.

Joanne is survived by one daughter, Angela Soulis, White City, OR; two sons, David (Shelly) Soulis, De Pere, WI; Mickey Soulis, San Jose, CA; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one brother, Jim (Jana) Wojcik, Albuquerque, NM.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Terry; brother, Dick; sister, Donna and great grandson, Gavin.

Celebration of Life: 11:00AM Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
