Jennifer Kylmanen

Jennifer Kay Kylmanen (Sabinash), 76, of Jamestown, ND, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Eventide Nursing Home on December 24, 2025. She was born September 17, 1949, in Kensal, ND, to Ray and Joyce (Walker) Sabinash.

Jennifer grew up in Woodworth and graduated from Woodworth school. She worked for many years as a cashier at Leevers Foods in Jamestown until it closed, then as a cook at Lincoln Elementary School. Later, she also worked at the KC Hall and Shady’s as a cook.

Jennifer will be remembered for her kind heart and caring nature. Family was always at the center of her life. Jennifer’s golden years were raising her six daughters. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and attending family gatherings. She will be remembered by her famous potato balls and Old Milwaukee pounders.

Jennifer was married to Marvin Kylmanen for 34 years. She is survived by her former husband, Marvin Kylmanen; her daughters: DaLona Sabinash; Dana (Jerry) O’Neill; Michele Cummings; DeAnn (Troy) Roaldson; Jeri (Steve) Summers; and Brandi (Rob Klein) Netolicky; grandchildren: Daman (Megan) Thompson, Seth (Josey) Thompson, Darcy O’Neill, Jamie O’Neill, Cheradan Cummings, Madilyn Roaldson, Maxwell Roaldson, Kiarra Summers, Jordan Summers, Nadia Netolicky, Xander Netolicky, and Talon Netolicky; and great-grandchildren: Adler, Avery, Asher, Aimes, Rowen, Aislynn, Layne, Ryker, Jayah, Brenner, and Hayven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Joyce Sabinash; her parents-in-law, Wesley and Elbie Kylmanen; her sister-in-law, Fontaine Sabinash; her brother-in-law, Jeff Spitzer; and her granddaughters, Cheyanne Cummings and Alexis Netolicky.

Family and friend visitation will be held Tuesday, December 30, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Eddy’s Funeral Home in Jamestown. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, at 10:00 a.m. at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND with Very Reverend C.F. Wilhelm presiding. A light lunch will follow the service.
