Jean Hetletvedt

Jean Hetletvedt, 74, went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 10, 2015 with family surrounded by her side.

Jean Ann Swenson was born July 25, 1941 to Anton and Nellie (Knepper) Swenson in Garrison, ND. She was the youngest of the family. Jean graduated from Garrison High School in 1960. She met Marvin Hetletvedt and they were married in 1963 in Crookston, MN. They had four boys and lived in Lisbon, ND where she worked at Parkside Nursing Home for 18 years. Marvin passed away in 1995 and then Jean moved to Jamestown where her home has been since.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Jean also enjoyed attending church at Victory Lutheran, working missing vowel puzzles, and watching crime shows.

Jean is survived by her four boys, Michael (Julie) Swenson, Milnor, ND, Mark (Marilyn) Hetletvedt, Jamestown, Steven Hetletvedt, Moses Lake, WA, Tom (Katrina) Hetletvedt, Ypsilanti, ND; eleven grandchildren, DaLonna McClean, Sarah (Shawn) Ferry, Brittney & Joshua Hetletvedt, Amber & Ashton Swenson, Kathryn, Thomas & Leah Hetletvedt, Shayla & Christopher Hetletvedt; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers; two sisters; and one great-grandson.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Victory Lutheran Brethren, Jamestown, ND.

Prayer Service : 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Victory Lutheran Brethren, Jamestown.

Visitation : 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment: 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Oakwood Cemetery, Lisbon, ND
