Jarvis Kramer, 31, of Menoken, ND passed away Sunday, November 10th in Bismarck, following a courageous battle with a sudden illness.
He was born June 1, 1988 to Randy and Patsy Kramer in Jamestown. He attended Pingree-Buchanan High School where he was a successful athlete in football, basketball and track; centering the 2006 basketball State Tournament team. Following his 2006 graduation he attended one year at Valley City State University where he played football and founded his academic passion for construction and engineering. Transferring to NDSU, Jarvis completed his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management in just 3 years.
As an accomplished construction manager, first with Wanzek Construction and later with Short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH), Jarvis was tasked with numerous challenging and successful construction projects throughout the Midwest.
On January 15, 2011 Jarvis married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Liudahl. He became a proud father when they were blessed with their son Owen on July 14, 2016
Jarvis lived a full life and profoundly touched everyone who met him. He was a “teddy bear” and his huge heart was consumed by caring for others. His selfless nature shaped how he lived as a husband, father, son, brother, friend and co-worker. His hearty laugh brought smiles to everyone around him. Jarvis loved people, his outgoing nature and fun-loving personality made him the life of every party and everyone wanted to be near him. He loved and respected his big brother Tyson, with whom he spent countless days fishing, hunting, talking and enjoying life. He loved doing anything outdoors, typically with his dog Hudson by his side.
Jarvis was preceded in death by his Grandfather Earl Kramer and his Uncle Maurice “Maury” Johnson. He is survived by his wife Sarah and son Owen (Menoken, ND); parents Randy & Patsy (Buchanan, ND); brother Tyson (Missy) Kramer (Mapleton, ND); grandparents Lillian Kramer (Jamestown, ND) and Maurice & Helen Johnson (Jamestown, ND); aunts and uncles Rick (Kathy) Kramer, Dean Kramer, Lori Anderson, Owen (Nancy) Johnson, Helen (Jim) Gavic, Andy Anderson and Mary Johnson; along with numerous loving cousins and other relatives.
