Janice Olson, 88, Jamestown, ND passed Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Eventide Jamestown after a gradual decline in health over the last few months.
Jan Olson was born January 24, 1938 in Cleveland, ND to Gideon and Louise (Wohl) Lang, who farmed near Clevelend. She lived her whole life in North Dakota where she was a teacher of fourth grade math for more than 25 years. Jan was also a church treasurer and family historian.
She is survived by her younger sister, Mrs. Kathy McKey. Jan was preceded in death by her husband Stan Olson; parents Gideon and Louise Lang; sister Mrs. Jean Carson; brother Dr. Robert Lang.
No services will be held at this time.
Eddy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
