Jane Marie Pecka

Jane Marie Pecka, 76, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, November 10, 2014 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Jane was born on September 21, 1938 in Grand Forks, ND to Lowell and Mary (Rose) Stevens. She graduated from Central High School. Shortly after graduation she married Larry Pecka Sr., her high school sweetheart. Together they had eight children, Larry Pecka Jr., Cleveland, ND; Natalie (Henry) Telken, rural Jamestown; Mary (Mickey) Searels, DeRidder, LA; Steven (Debra) Pecka, Jamestown; Theresa (Alan) Vogel, Bismarck; Michael Pecka (deceased); Sarah (Troy) Kelly, Jamestown and Chad Pecka, Jamestown. Jane was proud to have 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Jane enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting and sewing. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family. She is survived by her three sisters, Marjorie, Susan, Vickie and one brother, Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; son, Michael; and granddaughter, Jennifer.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 13 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown with Fr. Sean Mulligan, officiating.
Visitation: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 12 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Vigil Service: 5:00 PM, Wednesday, November 12 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
