Jacqueline "Jackie" Knetter

Jacqueline entered eternal life on May 16th, 2026. Jackie was born on October 26th, 1937, in Marion, Wisconsin to Francis and Ethelyn (Sprenger) Lucia. She graduated from Marion High School where she was a member of the high school band and cheerleader. Jackie loved dancing, playing piano, ice and roller skating, bowling and the companionship of her dogs who she loved dearly donating to many animal shelters.

Jackie met the love of her life, Allan, on a blind date bowling. They were united in marriage at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Marion and began their life together. In 1961 with three kids in tow they moved to Lakota, North Dakota continuing in the family cheese business. In 1965 they moved their family of seven to Medina where Knetter’s Medina Cheese was established.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Altar Society as well as the Elks and Eagles of Jamestown. She was a loving and devoted mother and a dedicated homemaker. Jackie had a great sense of humor and was always full of energy.

Jackie leaves behind a profound legacy of deep faith, her fierce love for family and beautiful memories. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Jackie is survived by her children Stephanie (Miles), Mark (Roberta), Christine (Steve) and Brian. Her grandchildren Kristin, Ian, Jak, Alexa, Andrew and Taylor, and great-grandchildren Angeleena, Valentino, Marshall, Giselle and Allan and her sister Kathleen Turnure. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband and son Jeffrey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday May 28th at 10 AM at St Mathias Church, Windsor. Burial following at St Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Medina.
