Inez Olstad

Inez Olstad, 92, Carrington, North Dakota, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Golden Acres Manor in Carrington.

Inez Milks was born August 20, 1914 near Montpelier, ND, the daughter of Floyd E. and Carolina (Stuart) Milks. She grew up in the Jamestown area and graduated from high school. Inez married Morris Olstad and they made their home in Jamestown. Upon retirement they moved away but found that living in Jamestown made them happiest and moved back after only a few years. Inez was an avid gardener and much loved.

Inez is survived by two granddaughters, Patricia Wilson, Coronado, CA and Christine Roeder, Buford, GA; four great grandchildren, Wyatt, Tori, Rob and Jonathon; one sister, Mina Poteet, Johnson City, TN, and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris, and her son, John Olstad.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
