Howard Mcgillivray

Howard William (Bill) McGillivray, 67, Jamestown, ND died Friday, September 12, 2014 at his home in Jamestown. Bill was born February 12, 1947 in Jamestown, ND the son of John and Caroline (Gainsforth) McGillivray. He moved to California at an early age where he attended school. He entered the United State Navy on July 31, 1965 in CA, was discharged July 22, 1969. Bill married Carol Harshman in August 1971 in California. They moved back to Jamestown in 1992. He was employed by Wedgcor as a shipper. He retired in 2010 due to his illness. Bill is survived by his wife, Carol; one son, Tracey, both of Jamestown, ND; two brothers, John and Rodney; three sisters, Virginia (Cookie) Worthington, Jackie Clark and Terri Ball.

There is no funeral service scheduled.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Graveside Burial: 4:00 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Highland Home Cemetery.
