Harold D Mickelson

Harold D. Mickelson, 81, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Tuesday morning, January 17, 2017 at Eventide.

Harold was born March 25, 1935, in Courtenay, ND, the son of Ben and Louise (Syverson) Mickelson. He married Arlene Falk on June 18, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Courtenay. Harold worked for Courtenay Motors, and then for R.M. Stoudt for many years. They made their home in Jamestown where Harold was a member of the Jamestown Fire Department.

Harold is survived by his three children, Kathryn (Mark) Miller, Daniel Mickelson, and Dennis Mickelson; grandson, Justin (Sam) Miller and their children, Anizye and Izabelle; grandson, Michael (Heidi) Mickelson and their children, Shayne and Kori; and granddaughter, Alicia (Paul) Mickelson and their children, Chase and Chance; siblings, Judy Riley, Harriet Rode, Betty Dilts, Joan (Charles) Meikle, and Roger (Laurie) Mickelson; and special friend, Janice Sabinash.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Arlene; brother, Lawrence Mickelson; and sister, Bernice Mohr.

Mass of Christian Burial : 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation : 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Vigil : 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown.
