Harlan Miekle

Harlan Lloyd Mielke, 74, Jamestown, North Dakota, formerly Minot, North Dakota passed away Friday, June 11, 2025, at his home.

Harlan was born August 15, 1950, the son of Edward and Jean (Woods) Mielke in LaMoure, North Dakota. Harlan married June (Maier) on November 16, 1968. They were married for 42 years until June’s passing away December 20, 2010.  Harlan retired from Food Service of America in November 2010.

He is survived by his son Dean (Linda) Mielke, Minot and one daughter Jaymie (Antonio) Mielke Quiroz, Houston. Grandsons Allen Mielke, Joseph (Joey) Mielke, Anthony Quiroz, Methius Quiroz, and Caleb Quiroz. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Ahner, and his brothers, Jerome (Edith) Mielke and Dale (Bonnie) Mielke.

He is preceded in death by parents Edward and Jean Mielke, his wife of 42 years June M. (Maier) Mielke and his sisters, Jeannie Gray and Barbara Mittleider.

Burial – Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
