Gregory Warren Petersen, 56, also known to his family and friends as the ""Lemonade Man"", Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, from complications due to exposure to agent orange during his tour in Vietnam. Greg was born March 1, 1947 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin the son of Warren Andrew and Muriam Suzanne (Saxon) Petersen. He gew up in New York. Later he served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.
Greg owned and operated his own truck and trucked all over the United States, which sparked his love for traveling. He also owned his own small engine repair shop and his own lemonade shop called ""ND Hand-Shaken Lemonade.""
He met his wife, Anita Jo Henry, in Arizona in 1997. They were married November 24, 1998.
Greg loved to travel south for the winters. He also enjoyed politics, computers and photography. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.
Greg is survived by his wife, four sons; Sean Petersen, James Petersen, Andrew Petersen and Mike (Cheryl) Maguire and five daughters; Paula Petersen, Summer (Tracy) Petersen, Nichole (Jason) George, Kendra Ashenbrenner and Tiffani Henry and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He will be missed by many and was loved by all.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, December 22, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
No visitation is planned.
