Greg Andersen, 54, of Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at his home in Jamestown.
Greg Scott Andersen was born August 28, 1953 in Jamestown, the son of Gilbert M. & Ruth E. (Disney) Andersen. Greg was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown. He graduated from Jamestown High School and attended Jamestown College. Greg worked in Montana logging and ranching before driving truck for Wiest Truck line, Jamestown.
Greg had a passion for hunting and fishing, taking many canoeing trips to Alaska. He enjoyed cooking his wild game, playing cards, and collecting baseball cards.
He is survived by a daughter, Shannon Kae, Bothell, WA; father, Gilbert M. Andersen, Jamestown; four brothers, Gary (Julie), Lakewood, CO, Rod (Phyllis), Grand Forks, ND, Randy, Sanford, FL, Jeff (Shelly), Jamestown; one sister, Sue (Butch) Forester, Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Memorial Service: 2:00PM, Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Leon Zavadil officiating.
No Visitation scheduled.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
