Frieda Bietz

Frieda Bietz, 98, of Cleveland, ND, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Fargo, ND.

Frieda Haas was born November 19, 1913 in Stutsman County, North Dakota, the daughter of Adolf and Minnie Haas. She married Arthur Bietz on July 10, 1937 in Jamestown, ND. They made their home in the Cleveland area for many years. Arthur died on April 1, 1988.

Frieda is survived by one son, Curtis (Glenda) Bietz, Four Seasons, MO; one foster son, Larry (Jan Brewer) Larson, Roseville, MI; and four grandchildren, Debra (Tracy) Battle, Jefferson, GA, Jonathan (Ellen) Bietz, Platte City, MO, Tiffani (Travis) Elser, West Fargo, ND, and Chris Williams, Fargo, ND; one sister, Evelyn Ensminger, Walla Walla, WA; and three brothers, Gideon Haas, Loveland, CO, Harry Haas, Aurora, Co, and Norman Haas, Loveland, CO.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Art, Jr.; and two grandsons, Jeffrey and Matthew Bietz.

Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Cleveland Cemetery, Cleveland, ND.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Cleveland Seventh Day Adventist Church, Cleveland, ND.
