Frank Hockridge

Frank Hockridge, 71, Fessenden, ND passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 at his home.

Frank Lee Hockridge was born September 30, 1958 in Grand Forks, ND to Harvey and Irene Hockridge. He graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1973. Frank worked in and around Grand Forks. One of his favorite jobs was delivering milk for Minnesota Dairy. During the summer months he was involved in the fair industry. His career began by traveling around to local fairs and helping his grandfather and mother clean and maintain the toilets. As he grew older he became involved in the concession business and his caramel corn is famous all around the country.

Frank decided to settle with his wife Glenda, and his family at Fessenden, ND, where he became an active part of the Wells County Fair. He spent 30 years volunteering for the Fessenden Fire Dept., and local ambulance.

Frank is survived by his wife Glenda, Fessenden, ND; daughter Christina Hockridge (Jon Widicker), Bowdon, ND; daughter Jennifer Hall, Panama City, Fla., Matthew Hall, Hutchinson, KS (grandchildren Colton and Stella Hall).
