Frances Hropko, 92, of Jamestown, ND passed away Sunday morning, December 13, 2020 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.
Frances was born October 2, 1928, in Eldridge, ND, the daughter of Walter “Butch” and Pauline (Woehl) Pfarr. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school, often riding in a horse-driven sleigh in the winter driven by her father. Frances married Leo Hropko on June 21, 1948. They made their home in Jamestown where she was the bookkeeper for the family delivery business. Frances was a loving and devoted wife and mother, caring for Jerry and later for Leo. She has a passion for gardening and was a talented artist.
Frances is survived by her son, Jerry Hropko; daughter, Sherry (David Baker) Hropko; and two grandchildren, Cody and Megan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leo Hropko.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, with Deacon Ken Votava officiating.
