Frances Bennett, 73, Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown, ND.

Frances Mae Paulson was born January 24, 1937 in Pierre, SD, the daughter of Nels Peter and Helen (Gropper) Paulson. She was raised on a ranch near Hayes, SD and attended school in Pierre, graduating from Pierre High School. Frances worked at the South Dakota State Capital. On April 27, 1961, she married Franklin Bennett in Pierre. She worked as a financial secretary at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND.

Frances was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and family and being involved in her church. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was involved with bible study and Stephen Ministries until her stroke in May of 2010.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin, Jamestown, ND; 3 children: Julie Kronebusch, Jamestown, ND; Karla (Todd) Hockert, Beverly Hills, FL; Kevin Bennett, Montpelier, ND; 4 grandchildren: Jeremy Towe; Zachary (Shauna) Hockert; Mirissa Kronebusch; Ashley Kronebusch; a brother, Nels (Dorothy) Paulson, Hayes, SD; a brother-in-law, Kenny (Vicki) Bennett, Spiritwood, ND and a sister-in-law, Rosella Bennett, Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 half-sisters; a half-brother; her mother and father-in-law; a nephew; a brother-in-law and a niece.

Funeral - 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND

Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Visitation - 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Saturday

Interment - James Valley Cemetery, Ypsilanti, ND
