Florence Willey

Florence Willey, 90, Jamestown, ND passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at St. Raphael-SMP Health, Valley City, ND.

Florence Emma Willey was born January 10, 1936 in Streeter, ND to Phillip and Emma (Labrensz) Veil. She attended schools until 8th grade. She married Kenneth Willey on November 6, 1955 in Jamestown.

Mom was a homemaker and later volunteered at various places. She did odd jobs over the years, but spent most of her time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, camping, cards & puzzles.

Florence is survived by her six children; Mark (Marina), Michael, Mary, Myron (Patti), Mitchell (Candi) and Marlene (Chris); as well as 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harry, Reuben & Roger and her loving husband Kenneth in 2006.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 6 at Eddy Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, August 7 at Eddy Funeral Home with Pastor Lucinda Lien officiating. Interment will be in Highland Home Cemetery.
