Fern Baker

Fern Baker, 79, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, November 29, 2004 at Central Dakota Village in Jamestown.

Fern was born December 11, 1924 in Milwaukee, Orgeon, the daughter of Bryant and Hazel (Purintun) Baker. She lived on farms near Hazelton, Kintyre and Ypsilanti, North Dakota. Fern attended school near Hazelton, ND. She moved to Jamestown in 1992.

Fern is survived by five sisters, Lillian (Frank) Ellingson, Sun City, AZ; Lottie Retzlaff, Napoleon, ND; Florence McClean, Jamestown; Olive Ackerman, Pueblo, CO and Mabel Noot, Valley City, ND, three brothers, Ray Baker, Jamestown; Grant (Carol) Baker, LaMoure, ND and Leslie (Irene) Baker, LaCrosse, WI and two sisters-in-law, Bernice Baker, Jamestown and Janice Baker, Fargo, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Bruce, Russell, Boyd, Lester and Charles and one sister, Opal.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, December 3, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Ypsilanti Cemetery, Ypsilanti, North Dakota.
